As Network Administrator we will be responsible for the maintenance of your computer and software anything comprises a computer network. 
Security Management for networks is different for all kinds of situations. A small home or an office would only require basic security while large businesses will require high maintenance and advanced software and hardware to prevent malicious attacks from hacking and spamming.
- Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
- Performing backups.
- Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
- Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
- Answering technical queries.
- Responsibility for security.
- Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system.
- Troubleshooting any reported problems.
- System performance tuning.
- Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running
- Installing and maintaining networking hardware and software.
- Assigning names and addresses to each computer and device on the network.
- Assigning names and identification numbers (IDs) to network users and groups.
- Performing the commands required to share, remove, and restrict resources.
- Troubleshooting network activity.
- Performance tuning.
